Teaching Philosophy
My philosophy about teaching is that students’ learning is sustained when the teacher naturally and gradually drives them to discover things for themselves.
As a teacher, I see myself only as a driver or a guide but not a holder and giver of knowledge in its entirety. Therefore, I design my teaching and learning activities in such a way that students are naturally and gradually made to discover new ideas for themselves about a particular concept/topic being taught.
This helps students to understand whatever they learn very well. It also enables them to easily recall and apply what they have learnt to real-life situations whenever the need arises.
