The Dambai College of Education requires qualified applicants to fill the following vacant positions.
- COLLEGE SECRETARY
Head of College Secretariat.
Assist principal in the administration and management of the College.
Secretary to college council, all committees of council as well as Statutory committees.
Hold 1st degree and a postgraduate degree preferably in Administration and Management related areas.
Must have served as Deputy Secretary in a College of Education or a comparable grade in a similar institution/organization for at least 4 years.
- FINANCE OFFICER
Chief Accounting Officer of the College and the Chief Financial Advisor to the Principal.
General responsibility for administration of the financial affairs of the College.
Ensure the financial statements are drawn in line with the law
Liaises with external auditors to get the College’s financial statements audited.
Hold a first degree or a comparable qualification plus a professional qualification or a master’s degree in finance.
Must have served as Deputy Finance Officer in a College of Education or comparable grade in a similar institution for at least 4 years.
- INTERNAL AUDITOR
Provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the college’s operations.
Shall help the college accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic disciplined approach to evaluate and improve risk management, control and governance processes.
Hold a first degree or comparable qualification plus a relevant professional qualification or a master’s degree in the relevant area.
Must be a member of a recognized accountancy professional association.
Must have served as Accountant or Deputy Internal Auditor in a College of Education or comparable grade in a similar institution/organization for at least 4 years.
