Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility donated Teaching and Learning Resources to Dambai College of Education on 5th December, 2019 after a 4-Day workshop they organized for Upper Primary Mathematics and Science Female Teachers in the Krachi-East Municipality held at Dambai College of Education, Dambai in the Oti Region of Ghana.
Presenting the items to the College authorities on behalf of the national executive of GNAT Mr. Adjardjah Mathew the Head of Professional Development Department of GNAT stated that the Association is very grateful to the Principal and College Management for the opportunity to use the college facilities and tutors as facilitators for the training. He said the donation was a form of appreciation for the kind gesture exhibited by the College during their period of stay.
The items comprised books, graph board, cylinder and other materials that are to support the work of tutors in their lecture halls
Receiving the items on behalf of the College, Mrs Benedicta Awusi Atiku, the Principal of the College expressed her delight at the gesture. She indicated, “we are extremely blessed for such a great initiative and kind gesture towards DACE. Undeniably, the items will beef up our stock to improve quality of education delivery at the College”.
Mrs. Atiku added that, “on behalf of the College Council, Staff and Students, we unreservedly receive your donation and pray the good Lord strengthens you to do more”.
